Competition Rules
๐น Team and player requirements
Each participating country can send up to 2 university teams.
A team consists of 12 players + 3 reserve players.
Players must be full-time university students.
There is no age limit, but students must be currently enrolled.
๐น Competition format
Group stage:

Four groups, round-robin format.

Each team plays at least 3 matches.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage.
Knockout stage:

Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final

K-nockout format.
๐น Rules & Duration
Quarterfinals: 4 × 10 minutes
Throwing time: 24 seconds per possession
Timeout: 2 times per half for each team
Fouls:
5 personal fouls per player
Team penalty after 4 fouls per half
Instant replay: Used for important referee decisions in the final minutes
๐น Fair play & anti-doping policy
Strictly adhere to FIBA โโ& WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) policies.
Violations will result in immediate disqualification.
Respect & sportsmanship are the core values โโof AUBL.
